Kumar is a illiterate man ,who is struggling to meet the day  today expenses and he is unable to get regular job and used to work as porter in a railway station. He cursed his mother for nagging him to get married  in this stage and his wife also starving with no fault of her . What ever income he got is  not sufficient to give atleast two square meals. God is so cruel with poor people  that they have to struggle through out their life. His wife

Is in the advance stage of pregnancy and at any time the delivery may occur.  She was admitted to a corporation  hospital , and even the treatment is free one has to spend money for medicine and diet expenses

He may required at least Rs300/- for the discharge after the delivery

Kumar don’t know how to get the money and he has requested to his friends to give money on loan  basis . All his friends has refused to give money as  he is due to them for the  money he has got from them previously .

Finally an idea struck to him he thought “ I will go to the hospital for the birth control operation ‘ and government is giving Rs.300/- and bag full of rice to those who got operated , and iam going to get one son or daughter and one child is sufficient for my family “

The operation was performed successfully and he went to the hospital

To see his wife and the born child . He is shocked to know that his wife has delivered a male child and the child has died after one hour .The cruel fact is that his wife cannot be conceived again as he has done the birth control operation
