In chennai the stray menace is high and each and every street is crowded with street dogs
and it is very difficult for the children to go to school as they are running behind them and casing after them and elders women and children were badly affected by dogs bite . In vellore the affected people has taken the matter with the corporation authority and they have send one employee to catch the stray dog and kill them and accordingly at least 25 dogs were killed . The matter some how reached the blue cross society and it has filed a case against the cororation employee under the act " Prevention of cruelty to animal and he was arrested . Is there any justification in their action and if they are particular about the welfare of the
dogs they would have adapted the stray dog or at least they would have sterilize the dogs to prevent their growth .The blue cross is interested only saving the life of animals than the human beings who were affected by the dogs bite
