Ex supreme court judge Katju should thing about

The honest post he has hold before uttering controversial

Statements.  In the case of sanjay dutt also he has given

Statement that the governor should pardon him for his

Gandhian policies he has spread in his film Munnabhai

MBBS.

And he has given many  reasonfor his statement

1. He has already served a sentence of 18 months in jail

    And he has suffered a lot for the past twenty years

2. Sanjay Dutt is not proved that he was involved in any

    Conspiracy or link with terrorist and he was accused

   Only for possession of illegal weapons .

3. His parent Sunildutt and nargis begum has done a lot

    Social works .

Sanjay is an actor and he has been paid for his roll as

Munna Bhai  in that film . The main motto of the film

Was to propagate Gandhiyan policies and sanjay has

Performed this character and that does not mean that

He can escape from the clutches law .

And serving 18 months in jail does not justify that he is

Innocent . Pocessing   illegal weapon is a great crime and

Sanjay has told that he was having the weapons for the

Self protection as he he was getting threat from some

Terrorist  is a lame excuse . If that is true he would have

Got the license for keeping the weapons.

And finally a convicted person’s parent may be a honest person

And  having a status in the society and that does not mean

An accused is to be  let out because of his parent .
