ONE NOBLE HEART

ONE NOBLE RETIRED GENTLEMAN

I was standing the queue to get the interest

For the amount I have deposited in post

Office in MIS (monthly Income scheme )

Being deepavali festival time the PO was

Fully crowded and I was waiting for my

Turns to come . Immediately there was a

Commotion  and the elderly gentle man

Who used to write applications for deposits

And withdrawals for people who are not literate

Has swooned and fallen from the chair . I

Immediately rushed to him and sprinkled

Water on his face after 10 minutes I asked

Where his house is so that I can drop him

To his residence . While on the way I asked

Him why he is coming to PO regularly and

Why cant he be in the house taking rest

He said “ Sir , iam a retired manager from

A reputed bank is staying with my son who

Is a software engineer . My son is very affectionate

With me and have lost my wife last year .She was

Caring me like a child and fulfilling all my need

But my daughter in law is entirely different and

She behave very nicely while my son is at home

And ill treat me while he is in the office .I cannot

Bear her harsh words and that is the reason iam

Regularly coming to this post office to be peaceful

And help the illiterate people to fill forms . what

Ever amount they give I used to give it to the

Leprosy beggar who is unable to move due to

His illness. After hearing his story my heart has

Become heavier and was wondering what a

Noble  person he is . I said good bye to him after

Dropping him safely to his house
